COVID Booking Information
Patients can book online via the NHS COVID-19 vaccination booking service.
For queries, patients can:

All our venues also operate as walk-in clinics if patients are unable to book in advance.

Eligibility Criteria
- Adults aged 75 and over
- Care home residents (older adult care homes)
- Immunocompromised individuals aged 6 months and over, including:
- Organ, bone marrow, or stem cell transplant patients
- Patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy
- Those with a history of certain cancers (e.g. chronic leukaemia, lymphoma)
- Individuals with genetic immune disorders
- People on long-term systemic steroids or immunosuppressive therapy
- People living with HIV
Housebound Patients
Patients coded as housebound by their GP will be contacted directly by the SDHC vaccination team using the phone number held by their practice. Please remind patients to ensure their contact details are up to date.
Children’s Clinics
- The autumn 2025 programme primarily targets adults.
- Children aged 5+ may be eligible and can book via the National Booking System.
- Eligible children aged 6 months–5 years will receive a text invite to book an appointment.
Patient Specific Directions (PSDs)
For patients outside the PGD/protocol criteria, our vaccinators can complete a PSD form during the appointment. Contact details will be taken, and the clinical lead will review within 7–10 days. If no contact is made in that timeframe, patients should follow up with us.
Additional Guidance for Patients
- Fear of needles: Please advise patients to inform vaccination staff in advance.
- Duration of campaign: 1 October 2025 – 31 January 2026 (most vaccinations expected to be completed by 19 December 2025).
- Attending while unwell: Patients with COVID-19 symptoms or a high temperature should wait until recovery before vaccination. Recent recovery from COVID-19 does not require a delay.
