Informal Mental Health Support
We have received funding to provide free informal mental health and well-being support to ethnic minority individuals in East Sussex through our trained bilingual advocates.
Bilingual advocates continue to provide informal mental health support to ethnic minority communities in East Sussex, offering five free sessions in which they assist community members in navigating systems that may be contributing to daily stress, anxiety or isolation.
Bilingual advocates can provide support with tangible issues that may benefit the client’s mental health (for example, housing, healthcare, finance, education or benefits), and understand what the barriers are to the client accessing mental health services and resolving their issues on their own accord. If you need to be referred, please contact the surgery.
